Our staff members are those who choose to share God's Grace in a formal way through serving as our leaders. Membership in our congregation is open to all who wish to join. You would bless us with your presence! We would like the opportunity to experience God with You, Together. God's Grace is free to us as Children of God. There is nothing you need to do to earn Grace. We accept you as you are and welcome you into our family.
REVEREND TOM PAIRAN
For over 25 years, Pastor Tom Pairan has served ELCA congregations in Kentucky, Minnesota, and Ohio. He was born in Lancaster and graduated from Millersport High School. He furthered his education at Wittenberg University, The Southern Baptist Seminary, and Trinity Lutheran Seminary.
Since 2019, Pastor Tom and his family have made their home in Chillicothe.
He is active in the Ross County Ministerial Association and the Chillicothe Civic Theatre. He has created greeting cards for Hallmark, written curricula for the ELCA, and drawn illustrations for the National Council of Churches and Spirit & Truth Publishing.
BECKY COCHRAN - SECRETARY
Meet Becky Cochran, our church secretary. Along with her regular secretarial duties, she is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure visitors are welcomed and our church runs smoothly.
Her interests include reading, bowling, socializing, & shopping! Becky is a native of Chillicothe where she spends time with her niece, nephew, and two great nephews who reside with her.
MELODY KNOLES - MUSIC DIRECTOR
Melody Knoles coordinates the music program at Calvary. She directs the adult and handbell choirs, praise team, coordinates music for special events, and accompanies worship as needed. She is a member of the music/worship committee and chair of the fellowship committee.
Her interests include music, photography, shelling, crafting, and thrift shopping.
Melody is a native of Chillicothe where she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
