MUSIC in the CHURCH

Calvary is blessed to have so many talented and willing members participate in our church music program. We have an adult choir, praise team, and handbell choir.  We alternate Wed & Sun practices as needed for these (3) groups, and always welcome new members! As the hymn states: “ALL ARE WELCOME IN THIS PLACE.” If you would like information on any of our music groups or are interested in joining, please feel free to contact me anytime, or stop in... our practices are always open!

ADULT CHOIR:

Calvary's adult choir sings September-May for the traditional services as well as various special services of the church year. We break during the summer months but continue to provide vocal and instrumental music for music. Cantatas and/or musical presentations are held twice a year. 

Practices: Sunday 9:30-10:30 a.m. & Wednesday 7:00-8:00 p.m.

PRAISE TEAM:

The praise team incorporates voices with guitar, keyboard, and drums, and leads music at the alternative worship service on the first Sunday of each month. Vocalists as well as instrumentalists are always welcome to join us!

Practices: Last Sunday of each month from 9:30-10:15 am.

HANDBELL CHOIR:

Our newest group is our handbell choir: "Celestial Ringers". We have 4 octaves of handbells and 3 octaves of chimes and love to share our music in worship.

Practices: Alternate with choir rehearsals on Sun & Wed as needed.
